Our Founding Story
Amanda & Chelsea was founded in 2015 by two friends – Amanda and Chelsea – who shared a passion for fashion and a vision to make professional clothing accessible to all women. As busy working women themselves, they were tired of settling for ill-fitting, poor quality, and prohibitively expensive workwear. Amanda & Chelsea set out to create a collection of thoughtfully designed pieces that were flattering, comfortable, versatile and most importantly, affordable.
The journey began in Amanda’s living room, poring over fabric swatches and sketching designs. Our first collection consisted of just three pants, two blazers and a shift dress. We started off slowly, selling at local pop-up shops and markets to gain valuable customer feedback. It wasn’t long before word spread – women fell in love with the fit, feel and versatility of our pieces. Before we knew it, Amanda & Chelsea had grown from a humble side hustle into a thriving national brand.

Amanda & Chelsea has grown from a two-woman operation into a full-fledged fashion brand, but we still maintain a small, tight-knit team.
Amanda, our founder and CEO, oversees design and production, ensuring every piece meets her rigorous quality standards. With a keen eye for fit and an instinct for what professional women want, Amanda leads our design process from first sketch to sample and beyond.
Chelsea, our Creative Director, works closely with Amanda on fabric selection, color stories and styling. Her trend forecasting expertise and knack for mixing patterns, shapes and textures ensures our collections feel fresh and modern each season.
Our talented in-house team brings Amanda and Chelsea’s vision to life. Our production manager Jenny has over 20 years of experience bringing brands’ creative concepts seamlessly from sketch to store. She ensures our pieces are crafted impeccably and delivered on time, every time.
On the marketing side, Sam keeps our brand voice consistent across platforms and campaigns. She employs targeted digital strategies to connect with professional women and keep them engaged with the brand.
At our Austin headquarters, Maria leads a small but mighty customer experience team dedicated to making every interaction with Amanda & Chelsea exceptional.
